Come and Follow Me
Come and see who you were born to be
Come and live in freedom’s jubilee
Come and know the Love that sings and
Brings new life
Come and leave your worries and your fears
Come and Joy will cover all your tears
Come and dance in awesome wonder
Hope in strife
Open up your heart and let go
Surrender self and lose control
Come and follow me
Come and follow me
Take my cross and leave your security
Come and follow me
Dare to dream of kingdom come a new
Dare to dream of justice that is true
Dare to dream of mercy’s humble
Invitation
Open up your heart and let go
Surrender self and lose control
Come and follow me
Come and follow me
Take my cross and leave your security
Come and see who you were born to be
Come and live in freedom’s jubilee
Come and know the Love that sings and
Brings new life
Come and leave your worries and your fears
Come and Joy will cover all your tears
Come and dance in awesome wonder
Hope in strife
Open up your heart and let go
Surrender self and lose control
Come and follow me
Come and follow me
Take my cross and leave your security
Come and follow me
Dare to dream of kingdom come a new
Dare to dream of justice that is true
Dare to dream of mercy’s humble
Invitation
Open up your heart and let go
Surrender self and lose control
Come and follow me
Come and follow me
Take my cross and leave your security
Take my life and leave your vain-conceit
Take my love for all the world to see
Come and follow me
Come and follow me

Hmmm! Good ideas. Maybe we are not older, but less able to accept God's creation and his creatures with the blind faith that a child exhibits. We want to find all the reasons that something might happen or perhaps couldn't happen as simply as God says it does. We don't want to walk off the edge because we are not sure anyone (God) will be there to catch us. What we need is the simple trust that children have to accept God, his world and each other. Love you guy. (Mom) Cheryl
I'm sure that God is not old at all. He lives in an eternal present. Hey Ethan, great lines. I really liked
"Come and see who you were born to be" is great to know who He planned you to be. Just in HIM we'll find our true self.
